Why gas stove won’t light up? Problem №1.
Gas stoves have some advantages such as the ability to cook on power outages and instant heat.
Find out why your gas stove won’t light up and how you can get your gas stove repair.
The most common reasons for gas stove repairs are related to the ignition of the gas burner — accumulation of grease or food crumbs, which can block the gas flow to the igniter.
So, let’s start the gas stove repair. First, you need to remove the grates covering the faulty burner, then remove the burner cap. The burner sealed base will either rise or you may need to unscrew a few screws to remove it. Wipe the surrounding area with a warm, soapy rag. Soak the base of the burner in vinegar or warm water and use a stiff brush to remove any dirt. Finally, remove any remaining debris from the burner holes with a toothpick or needle. Refit the burner, cover and grate. After the gas stove repair, try lighting the burner again.
